I thinking of getting a pair of this to complete my mazdaspeed bodykit. I have searched the forum that it is doable on a LHD RX8 without the heat functionality and the motor still work, is there any other issue with the RHD mirror on LHD RX8 (e.g. viewing angle)? Can the mirror be easily change to LHD mirror?

Yes, the size of the mirror is very small.

They don't stick out far enough so it makes it worse.

impossible to set mirror to view blind spot.

 

I think that is caused by the differences in LHD mirror & RHD mirror because of the curve live of the miror. Am I correct? Can the RHD/JDM mirror be replaced with the LHD/USDM mirror? Obviously the mirror has to be custom make and fit.

 

The mirrors are smaller in size. The image does not get "enlarged" like your OEM mirrors. (Does not have the "Images may appear closer" message). The passenger side mirror is angled just fine. The driver's side however is pretty limited. With the mirror tilting farthest outward (if that makes sense), half of the mirror shows the road, half shows the side of my car.. Something like that. Hope that helps

 

Can the mirror be replaced with a custom cut USDM spec mirror? Or the tilting motor is another limitation?

 

hi people im from Puerto Rico and i want those mirrirs... i was reading your posts and i dont understand some of abbreviations that you guys wrote.. for example RHD/JDM. if is not a big deal can somebody explain them to me please?

and the other questions is where and how i can find those side mirros? because i searched on ebay... and nothing.

Can somebody help me find a set of Mazdaspeed Aero Rear View mirrors mo my RX8. I have looked everywere on line but I cant find them.

 

You can get the Ganador Mirrors on japanparts.com while those mirrors i believe are the same as the mazdaspeed. hope this helps.
