Thanks man! Here are before/after dynos of the LG headers on an LS3 C6:

29HP gain to the wheels and 45.6 lb-ft of torque more

 

yeah well.... i like my 5hp gain headers BETTER ANYWAY!!!

ya it's crazy...can't wait to get them installed and for me to start reprogramming the PCM.

 

they do it for several reasons.

1. aftermarket industry would cry bloody murder if they maxed out the LSx engine from the factory.
2. it would be more expensive.
3. it would be very dangerous if every corvette driver had 700whp
4. gas mileage.

 

And probably the number one reason is sound...they have to legally stay under a certain decibel.

Not sure what it's currently putting down...but say I didn't have my tune, ram air intake....just the headers...

436 stock HP + 30 HP = 466HP
424 lb-ft + 45 lb-ft = 469 lb-ft

 

That's awesome ... I wish we could get those sort of gains out of the 8.

I think you'd like it...but be warned...you will miss your RX8. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of Victoria...yes I named my RX8...

Just something about it...can't put my finger on it...when I got into my RX8...I felt like it was a part of me.
