Scratched rim paint..
Hey all,
Was just wondering what you think the best course of action would be to fix this...
Was parallel parking between a Benz and a Range Rover, being rushed by people so I fucked up and didn't reposition myself, kept the wheel cranked and tapped the curb
So pissed off.
To make matters worse, when my girlfriend saw how pissed off I was she burst out laughing at my pain...

thats tough... I would contact the wheel manufacturer and see if they can provide the paint code. Otherwise you might have to have a shop take a guess which might lead to having all four repainted to match.
dude thats a serious ouch, that really makes the wheel look funny when in motion. time to go to a powdercoat company and get the esty's (<- LOL I made that word up just now, stands for estimates)
So heres what needs to be done.
1) Dump gf OR make her feel your pain(use you imagination or the shocker)
2) Get the color code or bring the rim somewhere(HomeDepot Benjamin Moore) and get the color matched for the paint code and order some paint + clear coat.
3)Clean the area then 2000-3000 grit(or finer) wet sand on affected area and slightly around area. Do this like you were sanding your dick, almost no pressure(sorry for the image but I am sure you under stand how to do it now)
4)Clean and completly dry. Apply thin coats of touchup paint. Let dry and repeat until the mark has vanished and the colors blend.
5) Add very thin layers of clear coat(maybe 2-3).
6)Clean rim and hope you did a good job.
The reason you would sand it slightly is to try and smooth out the area and to feather the edges of the scratch to prevent chipping of paint and to reduce its noticability when finished. Take your time and you should be fine.
Good Luck

Also, she bought me a $55 Japanese food meal.Believe it or not, the girlfriend saves me money. She buys me food and clothes and doesn't let me pay for it
.Also, she's usually sweet about everything, but becomes sarcastic when talking about my car.
She's abit odd sometimes, I think she's jealous of the 8.
Anyways, I know of a touch-up specialist.. Do you think he could handle this kind of job? I was basically just wondering if that could be done, or if it needed to be refinished completely...
I guess I'll give that guy a call.. Just hope he can match the color code

It's just a pain in the ***, I just had that tire checked yesterday because it was losing air, they couldn't find anything, but they re-tightened everything and the air seems to be okay now, and I go ahead and F*ck up a parallel park.. Just a bad day I guess.
Time for some Volks.
It can def be fixed. Don't know what they will charge for it though. They may completly sand it down and smooth it out then repaint it.
Theres a name for your type of gf.... whats it called..... oh yeah Suga Mama. Maybe she will pay for your rim to be fixed too lol.
