Hello all..............this is my first mod to my other wise stock RX8! I had this alpine EX-10 in my old Toyota and wanted to use it in the 8, but didn't want a dash mount. The only thing is that is is being broadcast over FM until I get some sort of AUX input mod for my BOSE head unit. Let me know what ya think!............

Also.......I broke a mounting leg off the first molding and had to make a new one.........as seen in the final painting........other than that I think it turned out pretty gnarly!

Very nice. I've made two pods for my 8 as well. First for the Sirius unit, and now my Dell PC.

BTW.......I LOVE that shift boot. I've been looking at getting one like it.

Maybe someday I will do some more custom stuff. Perhaps trying to squeeze a sub somewhere that it probably does not belong..............(dont want to lose any trunk space)!.......or maybe something with the center console lid/center speaker cover thing......I've seen some nice gauge pods up there...........who knows!
