Caliper, Hub Painting & Cleaning Pics

Decided to paint my calipers and clean some of the suspension components ready for the show season. I have finished the drivers side just the other side to do.

Front

Rear

The whole job takes a while to complete but mean as i have two weeks off work why not.

I like the grey on the center of the hub... cleans it up without making it stand out too much

Mind giving a general outline of what you had to do to paint the wheels? What prep work do you have to do besides ... well ... taking them off the car?

I am going to use the same stuff. Hopefully it matches my valve caps well enough. Do you think that this stuff could be used to paint metal in the engine?

Not sure, it says on the can that it's rated to 500 degrees (intermittant). There was also some high temp blue engine paint at Autozone, not sure what the temp rating on that was. I'm not sure how hot you need, depends on what you're painting I guess.

Well there is 500 and 1200 degrees.

I'm not sure either. But I guess it's worth a try? I mean whats the worst that could happen. If is doesn't work I could just buy the 1200 and paint over it.

Did you take the calipers apart completely, or just mask off areas? I want mine to look neat and professional like that

I'm also wondering, how long did the caliper paint take to dry enough to put everything back together? Just trying to figure out how much time I'll need to do it right. I'm putting new pads, rotors and brake lines on too.
