This works on many other forums and adds a lot of visual appeal to a thread over just links.

edited 3/19 Now we have embeded Video!

replace the ( ) with [ ] and paste the "embed video" code snipit in between...looking like this:

(embed)past code snipit here(/embed)

will get you embeded video as you see in posts below...

 

bump - Question about the 'Suggestions" subforum....do questions get answered here or are they justs get taken under advisement...

or looked at another way...if no one responds...what's the point of asking??

I was just going to ask about the same thing.... youtube tags....

 

I think it really improves the content of threads...far better than having links as you have to read each post to find a vid link, whereas this shows us plainly.

wow, this is freakin' cool!

 

Yeah, I always loved the youtube embed. Makes for watching videos easier, until they cancel embed, then it's just a hassle again

 

What about using HTML tags? I'd love to be able to embed my flickr photos so you can click to get other sizes, but the code provided to me doesn't render on the forum.

 

HTML tags can easily be exploited if you know what you're doing.
