It's January, and keeping with traditions, we're going to do an indoor GoKarting event! And afterwards, we'll go grab some dinner! Grin

Also, this year we're going to have prizes!

We're not going to reserve the track to ourselves... I'll just phone in and pre-register the people who've signed up. And since this is a weekend afternoon, I'll need to pre-register a few days in advance to make sure we get our desired time.

Damn, we need something like that in Toronto for the rx8 people here... we need to organize a go-karting event as well...

Summer's usually our more active times. That may be around the time we schedule our drive out to Whistler! Stay tuned. We'll be discussing 2009's events in the upcoming weeks.

 

can I come to the whistler drive in a shitty Budget rental?

Tubingchamp, I showed up last year to a wash/shine event at some self-wash bay near Royal-something drive in Burnaby... There I met Him, and Gyrobot. I was in a rental Ford Focus!

Hey I want to toss in an idea!

Something that is different and a lot more fun is a prize for second place, and a prize for second to last place! No prize for first place (Besides bragging rights).

This makes it interesting for the top racers and the worst racers. Since everyone has a chance at a little something.

Prizes like this, usually make a much more enjoyable atmosphere! and spirit!

I am pretty much coming for sure because my cousin is getting married on Aug 1. That is a Saturday, I hope it's not on that day you guys are doing the cruise....

but then again, this is too early now,and it's all speculation!

I just never liked this kind of thing, gokarts, or riding lawn mowers, ATVs, dirtbikes, seadoos, or that kinda crap... Dislike amusement park rides too.... :D
