First, this should probably belong in the Appearance Forum but I know some of you guys and value your opinion more than people I haven't met.

I bought some replacement parking light bulbs and decided on HID White LED bulbs because they should match the low beams perfectly. However, I was shipped the wrong bulbs and after giving the company a call they are shipping the right bulbs and I was told to carefully open the package, put the wrong ones in and mark it Return to Sender.

Anyhow, I was bored today so I put the 'wrong' LEDs in to see how ricey the car looked. Unfortunately, I kind of like the UV Rice bulbs a bit. How ricey do these look to you guys. What I like about these is from farther back, the small amount of purple makes the white/blue of the HIDs look a bit more blue/purple.






As a note, the less Rice white ones should be here in about a week.

And yes, clear corners are going to be my birthday present to myself in April.

 

It's not terrible, but I think you might like the others better. Why not wait till the correct ones get there, then put only one in and see which you like better?

I got the W5W lights in the matching color temperature and they really do look great with the HIDs.

 

It doesn't look bad, but it would look better if everything matched.

So go up to 8000K on the headlights or change out those parking lights

/i wouldn't go to 8000K on the headlights...

 

Post pics of the new ones coming. They all need to match even if they are that blue. Still better than the yellow
