new additions at the house force me to sell my beloved 88 TII. it has just under 145K miles and runs very well. i am VERY strict about keeping up on the maitenance of this car. this car has been like my baby. tires have good tread but are dry rotten. exhaust is a home made (installed by previous owner) and is converterless except for the first catylitic converter and is mufflerless. compression has not been tested. lots of new parts include beets, hoses, brakes all around, antenna, oil cap, plugs (NGK), wires (NGK), battery, coolant flush, fresh oil (castrol gtx 20W50), exhaust hangers, air filter, fuel filter, trans fluid, and shifter bushings. car could use door panels as someone has cut a hole in each one for a speaker. car previously had an engine fire caused by a PD leak. everything associated from that fire has been repaired or replaced by myself. the turbo has a weak oil seal and will smoke when idleing when cold but will clear up when warm and after being driven. when the oputside temps are cold, the idle will stay between 1200rpm and 1500 rpm until driven at highway speeds then it will settle down. fuel injectors could use to be sent to be cleaned and flow tested. engine runs fine other than if it is shut off immediatly after a highway cruise without letting it idle. it has only flooded on me a few times, causing me to have to pull the fuse and crank and reinstal the fuse. the paint is good with only inor scratches and a few dents. paint on th ehood is gone in a small spot due to the engine fire. price is $3500/obo. if i can think of anything else i'll post it. car is located in northern ohio. 440-371-5332.

 

I swapped a motor in one of these and fell in love with the 80s interior. They can be great cars in the right hands, and the price isnt that bad either. Good luck with the sale, Wish I had room for it.
