Just got my new 8/wint. wheel q's
Picked up a 2008 40th Anniversary edition a couple of days ago. I'm just loving it (of course).
Thanks to the board, I spent about 3 weeks power lurking before buying, there is great expertise and experience here.
I have been through all of the winter threads and have a good fix on sizing options, and I'm a big Toyo fan so I will probably go that way for tires.
For wheels, is a closed wheel design (read ugly black steel) easier on the brake components or so forth, or does it really matter. Certainly there are some nicer looking options in more open wheel designs.
Also, what do you guys do about the tire pressure sensors? Live with the warning light or install them in the winter package to keep the systems intact?
Cheers,
Troy

Kamloops eh? congratulations. Your best bet is to talk to burnabyrx8 and Gyrobot from BC-RX8 CLUB. They are members on the forum based in Vancouver that have their local club in Vancouver.

I do'nt drive my 8 in the winter, but my winter beater wears Nokians'
Damn things are almost as soft as an r-compound at -10.
I had never heard of them 'til a couple ice-racers clued me in.
