Neo!!! It did not melt as we suspected! you're now safe to come out!
Footman,
Do you have any sort of details regarding the FD? Wheels? Any exterior addons?
I know more than a few FD owners who drive their cars in the spring/summer/fall months.
I even know a few who drive them in the winter! *gasp*
I like to keep mine as close to showroom condition as humanly possible.

The silver FD was driven by some brown dood in a lightly tinted car. No rear spoiler. Some aftermarket rims, and I'm not sure about the exhaust.
I was travelling on Steeles Ave eastbound just past Kennedy Rd. He pulled out of Pacific Mall and went westbound on Steeles Ave.
This happened around rush hour yesterday in pouring rain I emphasize. No paint streaking occured hahahahah

Footman,
That might have been 7_rocket. He's usually in that area.

Thanks for the comment. There are few people who can appreciate what it takes to keep a car that clean.
Agent008,
I think you've seen under the hood at least 3 times.

I remember those days. I had to drive my FD around all season for the first 2 years.
I can't remember how many times I had to wash the bloody thing because of the stupid rain!!
I use to go through alot of Mother California car wash. Not to mention lots of hours cleaning the thing to make it look emaculate.
I don't have that kind of time anymore. So thankfully I was able to afford a second car.
The FD hasn't seen a full car wash in over 2yrs. I drive it 2-3 days straight (weather permitting) and then I do a small detail cleanup. No need for soap and water. This way the wax stays on the car the entire year.

speaking of silver FDs, i drove one today, wow. i was so suprised at the torque. it was almost violent...guess im just used to the power coming on so slow with the 8. i wouldnt drive one in the rain either...you'd be waggin your tail all over the road, haha. i have a heavy foot though, so things would get out of hand quickly. haha

rotarygreg,
I remember one time when I first got the car, I was driving along Bathurst and Steeles in the pouring rain. The intersection is a bit misleading in the wet. 1 of the rear tires dipped into a puddle and that sent the car almost sideways!
Thankfully I caught it and straightened it out. And this was just mild throttle. Not boosting, taking it nice and easy. The rest of traffic got really scared! They thought I was going to go into the oncoming lanes! lol
Suffice to say everyone stayed 3 car lengths away from me the whole way up to home.
I hate the DSC! The first thing I disable in the Miata everytime I start her up is that stupid DSC. Too bad there wasn't an option to delete that "feature" when I got the car.
