Getting my windows tinted this weekend. I have a red 8 and want dark windows but not limo tint. I think I had 15% on a previous vehicle that I liked but it was on a black vehicle. What % do you guys reccomend, legality not an issue.

 

5% hahaha. i got 5 on all back windows and 35% in the front i kinda wish i would have went a bit darker in the front.

 

if you dont want to be "too" dark, 20%

 

limo is 5%. if you don't want limo, 15% all around sounds like a good number. it'll look clean.

35% side 20% small side window and back window .............

 

there's too much of a difference between 35 and 20. you should try to keep it even all around since legality isn't in issue. it looks the cleanest. unless vision is gonna be a problem...

 

i have 20% in the front two windows and 5% in the rear three..
works for me even at night.. except for when i have to back up lol

dang windshield. would love to, but too much of a magnet.

 

I can imagine how strict they are in CA, but here they don't say much. if someone is not sure 35% is nice on the shield aswell

looks good, I currently have 20 around and 35 on the shield. Next time I wash it I will post some pictures. My firend has a 350z and he has 5 all the way around, including the windsield. Its stupid dark

mines 15% all around with the strip on the windshield

 

5% is way too dark, you would not be able to see anything through the side windows when turning at night, I have 20% and when the streets aren't lit I can barely see through them

 

I find my 20% too light. Although i usually lower my front windows at night because i like the breeze and so cops won't see it.

 

I have a VR as well. Still deciding whether to go with 15% all around or 20%..
