i got my rx8 about a week ago.
2006 6spd manual, grey.
was thinking about painting my rims black?
what do you guys think?

Congrats on the RX-8. Quite a few people have done it and I'd highly recommend powder coating the wheels black instead of painting. Might cost a little more but the results are fantastic and should last very long

I paint wheels at work, they will last about as long as powdercoating if done correctly

okay so i was thinking, black is what everybody has. i have seen some gray evo's and z's with blue rims. i want to do something different so i might paint them blue.

 

that would surely be different.

I wouldn't paint the wheels, but hey, you asked for an opinion.
Powder coating with a slight tint wouldn't be bad though.
