Well I am going to put up some pics of how my turbo project is going so far. Hope its of your enjoyment.

So I took the manifold and the downpipe for some clean up and an nice ceramic coating.

 

Sooo...how long untill it's done?

Well tomorrow im taking one of the tubes to have the base for the HKS BOV welded. Then later tomorrow im giving the tubes to the same guy to coat them all black. Then as soon as my prosport gauges get here which should be wednesday or thursday I will install. So by saturday I should have it up and running.

 

I found a good deal on a used greddy kit so im modding it a bit with the AP and another intake and using it like that for a couple months then im buying myself the MM upgrade.

Well im not installing it alone. Im having a friend of mine that is car mechanic help me. He has turboed a lot of cars so we should have no problem. Hopefully it all works out. I will keep posting pictures as the project moves along.

check your turbo and tubes for hidden clamps. I got most of mine done today. I only need the oil fittings and all will be finished. Everything else is done. Good luck

Well I should get back the tube with the HKS SSQV base welded on today, then on thursday im going all out with a friend and installing it in one day hopefully. If not then ill have friday to finish it off.

forget the clamps, it's those sneaky clams you have to worry about (sorry taj).

you planning on hitting the dyno soon after the installation or wait for the MM upgrade?
