Rear bumper/defuser/exhaust
Rear bumper/defuser/exhaust
I'm in the market for some after market aero but I have to confess, I have the stink of noob all over me
. Few questions:
-I hear that urethane may require some ajustments to make it fit perfect. Is this true of carbon fiber as well? I'm looking at the NRF front bumper Ver 1 (carbon) is it a true fit?
-Rear bumper and defuser or exhaust first? Do all after market exhausts fit into any bumper? None of these sites state the size of the exhaust openings.
-The R-magic cooling hood seems to require hood pins. Is this fact? How hard and time consuming are pins to install?
-Last of all, can a Total noob like myself do any of these installs and have it look like it should, can any body shop handle something like this, or should I take the car into some place dedicated to this service?
Once again I'm very new to the mods so thanks for the input.

1) Not all CF have perfect fitament.
2) I would go with the exhaust first if your body is stock. If your body has aftermarket front and sides, then I would go with the diffuser.
3) I'm not sure how many members have this hood. Try PM'ing vendors like 'Lazi.' I'm sure he'll be able to help you.
4) Installations should be done if you are competent enough. There are plenty of members here who installed stuff by themselves. However, I'm not that skilled with installing stuff. I had a friend help me out.
Hope this helps.

Actually i have been. I cant find one of them that has the Au-to Bahn Ver.1 Titanium exhaust, which would be my first choice if it fits the Kenstyle bumper. I am however waiting on "Au-to Bahn Sports" to send me a quote. I found a email address on the bottem of a japanese order form on there site. Whether or not it works, i guess i just have to wait and see.
