RX8/FB RX7 cruise from Portland to Madras

Well, this summer I'm working for a construction company, and we are doing some work out in Madras, Oregon. I might have to travel back to town, so I drove myself. Anyway, first longer trip with my car, other than a trip to Eugene. Enjoy the pics.

Officially, they're all SA22. FB is mainly used in America for 81-85 because they switched to the standard VIN numbers with FB designation.

And it really does need some paint. the rear looks interesting with all the bumpers and tirm smoothed out.

Its getting there. Its my buddies. I shaved the rear bumper, and the middle portion of the taillights. After rockin it a month or so, the rear is too plain, so i will be cutting the middle portion and adding the filler panel back in. I also shaved the emblems front and rear, and shaved the marker lights. Also had some gnarly dents here and there. Its getting there. After this work stint, im going to shave the front bumper, and make a sheet metal air dam.

Your also right. The first gen was the sa, which this one looks alot alike, but this is an fb. They are ALOT alike. Id have to ask him all the little differences.

This is what it used to look like. Fb.

And this is an sa.

sorry for the huge pic.

Yeah, it was a heck of a drive. I love my car more and more every day.

Seeing these pics makes me realize how good the photographer was who took your first photos of your car. Your car looked Much better in those pics! Still looks good tho

Yeah.
1 - Well, we are both newbs when it comes to photographs.
2 - Was a point and shoot camera, no $2000 camera like my buddies.
3 - We were both by ourselves in our cars, very hard to drive and shoot, unlike him, when he was in the bed of his truck, with someone driving.

Yeah, Shane(guy who took my pics) is amazing. No hostility in my post, just pointing out why they suck, haha.

yeah. im pretty lucky, he loves my car. he loved taking pics of my last car too. here are a few of it.

Anyway, yeah, he is good. We have a few more shots planned, one being a multi-framed shot, or a shot with like 8-10 pics of my car, all in one picture. Not completely sure of what its called. maybe a sequence or something, of me drifting either around a friend of mine, or a different car. We will see.

Ill have some more pics soon. From here, I think im going to prineville, or, then to sunriver, or.
