New Rendered Speculation: 2010 Mazda 3

Since the old thread was about "spied photos" Here is another rendered speculation of the 2010 mazda3:

IMO, i think the car looks really sick! Something I would consider buying in the future. I like the front, looks like the Mazda Furai concept and overall the design looks unique. If production looks like this, I might consider it.

Picture #4 looks Porsche Cayenne-ish.

Overall I really like it.

not feeling it. The front end looks alien-ish. Rear is alright. But an all too common design seen in the various incarnations from Tribeca, Santa Fe to Rogue. We'll see in the flesh.

Not to my tastes - looks entirely too much like something Pontiac designed.

Looks like a Mazda 2 not a 3... where did you get the pictures from??? Oh wait, I see you got them from autoblog, the most consistently wrong auto site this side of a vette forum.

I'd be very surprised if that was anything but the next gen Mazda2 or something that some fanboi tweaked up in photoshop.

Not liking the "waves" in the doors. The wheels are hideous too. I do like the front end if you take the crease out of the middle of the hood. There's no way that car is happening. To whoever else mentioned it...it looks a little pontiacish to me too.

I'm loving it but of course I'm an admitted Mazda fanboi. Make it 95% like this and figure out how to build enough of them.

Irvine (Or Hiroshima), we have a winner!

The rear and beltline crease is Alfa Romeoish which is never a bad thing.

I agree..... I think the new 3 looks very slick, it has a mix of RX-8, new 6 in it, with a blend of CX-7/9 mixed into it with a hint of alfa. One thing that can't be denied or overlooked, it looks very Mazda , which is a plus in my book. I looked at many cars on the road, and the first thing that comes to my mind is, boy that car sure looks like a "x". This new 3 looks like a Mazda, i love the new brand recognition theme with the new 5 pointed grill or inlet, its Mazda trademark now. Go Mazda!

You can see the concept's from the past couple years in that design flow

Those tails will never make it into production (I hope).

I think that it looks great! Very futuristic (especially the taillights).

The side windows look pretty small, though (not sure if its due to a low roof or a high beltline), so it makes me wonder how the visibility would be.
