Hi guys-

Just picked up my 8 a couple weeks ago, already trying to figure out what I want to do with it - It really isn't healthy for me to be thinking about spending all this money, argh..

Anyway, looking around the forums I really like the looks of some of the 5zigen rims on some of the 8s, and they're relatively affordable. I was looking at these ones-

Now, as I'm not made of money, I can't really afforrd a new set of tires with these rims, so I want to keep the stock tires. They only have 1k miles on them, and I want to use the stock rims for winter tires. So I was wondering if the stock tires will fit on these rims? I'm pretty new to the aftermarket stuff, especially wheels and tires, so I'm not entirely clear on the sizes and crap.

Also they have a 38 offset. I'm pretty sure I've seen a lot of you running this offset with no problems. I was also thinking about getting some tein s-techs to drop the car..I believe it's 1.75 in the front and .7 in the back? Would I run into any issues with these rims and that kind of drop?

Yes. 38mm offset is fine.

I know, I was under the assumption that thread was about what size rims and tires would fit on the car..I was more concerned about whether the stock tires would fit on those rims. I just got a little carried away with the questions, sorry
