TPMS light wont go out after taking my wheels off

TPMS light wont go out after taking my wheels off

I just recently took all of my oem wheels off to paint my calipers and after i put them back on the tpms light wont go out. is there something i need to do when i put the wheels back on or what may the problem be, thanks

Yep, check the pressure. I've found anything below 31 to 30 PSI in the tires pisses the TPMS off.

I had a valve stem break during a swap of my tires and so I will probably remove the TPMS on my other wheels with my new set of tires. I get the blinking light all the time now.

If the pressure is good and it's still solid you could have a damaged unit. I bet that will be your fix though.

Hey thanks i have checked my tire pressure before and it was good so i will check it afain and if its still good im gonna say screw it bc i have new wheels and tires on the way

Turn the key on to the run position for 5 seconds then off.

Wait for 15 minutes.

Drive the car at speeds of at least 12 MPH for several minutes. This will register the TPMS code to your ECU.

If this is not done then the flashing TPMS light and beeping will occur.

Flashing light and beeping says that there is a TPMS system malfunction.

Illuminated light means the pressure is too low or high in at least one wheel.

Illuminated constant light means the TPMS' are not in the wheels. Like mine.
