New 7 seat RX8.

Not quite the same as the RX8, but at least I don't have to worry about the engine dying on me.

New 2008, grand touring AWD, $42,000 ( all the bells and whistles ) and got $16,500 for my 2004 RX8.

I really needed the x-tra seats/room.

you spent $42k on a mazda? never, after experiencing the service and lack of knowledge of mazda dealers, would i spend that much. i feel like there are much better options out there for the same amount of money.

my dealer ( appleton, wisconsin ) has helped me very much on my RX8. ( red carpet treatment ) guess it depends where you live.

I love the CX-9, it doesn't feel/handle like a SUV.

IMO unless you live in canada you got ripped off, 42k for a cx-9??? 2008's are 24k here with no negotiating

and if you live in canada getting 16k for an 04 rx-8 isnt that good....

You have no idea what you are talking about. Just wait till you go to sell your 2007...... New RX8 GT 2008 sell for $29,000. Your 07 maybe is worth $20,000.

Nice ride dude, sorry about your engine worries w/ the 8.

Isn't it awkward going from a car to an SUV, I couldn't do it I don't think

you missed what i was saying. sorry if i was unclear... i wouldn't spend $42k for a mazda. i love my RX8 and all, but for $42k there are better cars, dealers, reputations, reliability standards to be had. sorry.

on a more positive note, the CX9 is actually one of the best looking mazda's inside and out that i've ever seen. it looks really good and i'm sure it drives really well too.

^ Mazda was the only dealer that would give me a good trade in price for my RX8. Honda would only give me $11,000 on a trade.
I had it for sale at $14,000 and got zero calls. They gave me $16,500 off of list.

^^ check around, 8's have rotten resale value. I went to 4 dealers and all would only give me $11,000 for a trade in price on my mint 04 touring MT, 30,000 miles RX8.

like what exactly can you get fully loaded and AWD for $42k that's better than a CX-9? and get $16,500 for a $12,000 car? so call it $37.5k
