We call out kits either the
Version 1 kit - which is the urethane lip kit
or
D1GT - which is the full bumper FRP pieces.

 

if you go to craigslist then sf bay area theres a yellow rx8 for sale with the d1gt body kit.

 

I have lightning yellow w ms front veilside rear & side skirts,I threw in a pic of my radio too hope you dont mind...

 

yea, i want a full kit just like yours...
can't find any full kit in yellow, really love this kit

hmmn,lighting yellow with ms kit looks good, but the real ms one cost too much...

 

i think this is an excellent post. continue doing what you do. i like where youre coming from. no sarcasm.

 

veilside don't come paints, u'll have to get it painted. the authentic is the Cheapest way to get kitted properly since it comes painted, and matches 100%.

the full kit is D1-GT but by the time you get it fitted and painted it will be the same price range if not more expensive than the full mazdaspeed....so if your on a budget i would be careful of buying any kit.....its not cheap

 

I got ms knockoff veilside side skirts and rear bumper painted and put on for around 1560.00 that total ... I think it looks good see pics above
but you have to be carefull from some places the first ms knock off side skirts I ordered didnt fit they were
about 3 in to short the next ones I ordered from aerotrends located in jax fit nice also got the bumper there
and I m getting the ms knock off wing in carbon from them too ... nice pep's

here is a pic of my car. just got the whole authentic kit and hood put on.




havent had a chance to fully wash it yet. just got it back last night. and the green tape is there because the side skirts are a tight fit with the door. The bodyshop told me to get some 3m clear bra material to put down so it doesnt scratch the paint. That will be on in a few days.
