Ok so im getting a reman motor for my 04 rx8, and ive heard some negative things about the reman motor. So i was just wondering

1. How many miles on it right now?
2. How many miles did it go b4 it died?
3. How happy are you w/ the new reman?


This may have been done b4 but im too lazy today to search so flame on if its been done!

3, I bought mine from Mazmart and it was installed by a Rotary specialty shop.
I am happy with it.

 

How much $$$ was it including install and everything?

Mazda remanufactured motor, replaced at the end of october 07.

3. I'm happy with it. Have had a few issues, but they were accessory related (starter, etc.)

 

Not counting the car I rented it was close to $4,000. Where I saved $$ was on the install, JPR Imports gave me a good deal and did great work. If you can find a tuner shop that has done RX-8 engine installs you can save money over the dealer and get a better job done.
