Performance Shop in RI or MA Area?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone know a good Shop in North Attleboro, MA - or a 30 miles radius from the city or even in Rhode Island, depends where... Was looking to get exhaust and rotors put in for cheap, otherwise if i can't then i'll just do it myself.

If you have the know how, then i suggest doing it yourself, you can put the money you save toward more parts!

Do it yourself. You'll have more satisfaction. I know I do.

Not sure if you want to cross the dreaded Washington Bridge, but my mechanic is great - takes great care of my 8, has very reasonable prices, and has never complained about any of the various parts I buy myself & ask him to install. It's not a performance shop, just a regular garage - but getting things "put in for cheap" & "performance shop" don't appear in the same sentence very often.

If you needed a performance shop and didnt mind the drive, a couple of my friends own their own shops and are very knowlegable.

Greenblur93: If you can PM the garage number and who to ask for or if you can get a price quote on my above request.

dmc27: Washington bridge - thats up towards newport? i can't recall bridges i just cross them most of the time... hahaha... and if you could do the same... get me a price quote or if you have his number i'll give him a call.

Washington Bridge is the one that's always backed up on 195. His info is listed in the first post, but I can ask what he'd charge when I stop by there in the a.m.

I talked to him this morning and he said he could probably get them done for around $100 total. That was with the assumption that it's a cat-back exhaust, or at least no header work. And assuming the rear bumper doesn't need to be removed - which shouldn't be necessary, but again I am not sure what parts you have to install. He's on vacation next week but his dad (the original owner/mechanic of the shop) can do it next week if you don't want to wait until after memorial day when DJ gets back.

Call him if you're interested. You can let him know you are the person Dennis (<-- me) talked to him about this morning.

No problem. Treat him nice! lol.

I've been going there for years and he's always willing to help w/stuff now that I have the 8. He pulled my rotors & calipers a few weeks ago so I could paint them over the weekend for re-install on a Monday morning. Plus he mounted & balanced my new tires and put them on. All for a very low $$$$. Great guy to have a solid mech/owner relationship with, imo. He probably wouldn't be able to help much w/rotary engine problems, per se (like seals and such) - but there aren't many rotary mechanics around anyway.
