I need instructions for installing the apperance package front lip

Hey guys!

well as the title suggests.. i have a stock Rx8 and just bought a used front lip - it looks like in good condition with tabs and everything, but it didn't come with any additional hardware (screws) or instructions

And before i got lay around on the ground for an hour and messing something up, does anyone have instrucitons on how to install the thing?

all i found in a search was this

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/help-front-apperance-lip-89221/

and all it says is that i need a second piece to install it, which I am pretty sure i have.

does anyone have a link to the instructions or can tell me step by step what to do? or even better yet is there anyone in SoCal orange county that would be willing to help me install it?!

Thanks for your help guys!

when an item doesnt come with screws most likely you have to use the OEM screws that are already in place on the bottom of the stock bumper. You also have to have adhesive sticky tape to attach the lip to the bottom for a better hold and cleaner look.

I installed the front air damn myself a few months ago. If you buy an authentic piece, it should come with everything that you need.. the front lip, instructions, and 6 bolts/nuts. I did some research on this website by SEARCHING and found some decent DIY instructions with pictures, but ended up only using the instructions that came with the lip, as those instructions are very good.

vampiresix aka douche-biscuit,

he already stated he searched and could only find the one link. why not be a nice guy and post the link you used instead of being a troll and using your leet caps key?

Just pointing out that there ARE instructions that arn't hard to find. I would be more than happy to post a link, but there are two problems with this...

1) I'm a douche-biscuit
2) you seem to have plenty of time for worthless posts, so I'll let you redeem yourself by providing the link yourself.

oh, and by the way, I did provide some useful information in my post. It wasn't a search dismissal.

Even if you bought it used, the single lip piece should be all you need (unless the previous owner took it apart) with the addition of the six bolts/nuts. My bolts got lost before I could install the lip, but a trip to the dealership, $6, and two-three days was all it took to replace those.

If you still need instructions, you should be able to get the parts department at the dealership to print you off a set... they'll have to look them up anyway to get the part number for the screws.
