Exhaust leaking after cat

Hey guys I am having trouble with my new cat back system leaking right where the cat meets the new pipe. Where it comes out of the cat and sort of tapers down? then my new pipe goes over it but there is no gasket or anyting in there to stop the leak....It is loud as hell now from the leak.....do I need a donut gasket? 3"? I didn't get any hardware with the exhaust and it's almost like i need a reducer of some sort or something? Any help would b appreciated....thanks

Interestingly enough I have the borla exhaust as well and a mazda tech said my car had the same problem. Anyone know how to fix it?

I would just take it to a local muffler shop, explain the problem, and they should add an appropriate gasket to ensure no leakage for pretty cheap without taking to much time.
