I searched and found out that you need to heat up the sides to take them off. My main question is, if I take them off myself (I am getting a veilside kit put on next friday) Will the holes that the pkg leave be ok for about a week until I take the car in?

 

It will be ok besides the front air dam. The bottom part of the front air dam will sag if you take off the appearance package front lip air dam thingy...

 

ok im only really interested in the sides. im just gonna let the front and rear on until they take the bumpers completely off.

 

If the package is installed at a dealership, u might want to check to see if there is any bare metal exposed to the air. If there are use touch-up paint to cover it. And cover up the holes with masking tape or something just in case.
