Conned by Accolade Bodykit?

Hi Guys,

I'm from Singapore. 2 weeks ago I ordered an Accolade bodykit via the website of www.body-kit.com. Although its a US company, its manufacturing plant is in Sri Lanka. I liased through emails with a guy by the name of Chris Peterson.

After I paid the money via Telegraphic Transfer to their company's bank account, I did not receive any emails from then on! I began to panic and thus started sending multiple emails to the rest of their email addresses, even to the US. Unfortunately, till date, I have not receive any replies from them. Feeling desperate, I called directly to Sri Lanka, but no one answered!

Can anyone give me some advice? Or even if someone is in that particular country/state, can you pls lend a hand by checking it out for me? Their addresses can be found in their website.

Pls PM or email me at babyhog22@hotmail.com if you have any advices.

Have you tried PM on here? The username is ACCOLADE, you also wanna try to contact them by email: dimantha@body-kit.com or msn chat: accoladeracing@hotmail.com I don't know if you have already tried contacting them through any of those contacts.. Hopefully that somewhat helps.

But bro, they replied my emails within hours before payment. After they received the money, NO emails have been replied so far! It has been about a week!

And even not answering their mobiles...

What's wrong with them man...

Haven't you read any of their reviews. The product fitment is horrible, their customer service is non existent. The only thing they do have is attractive marketing... which does little for anything beyond purchase.

their customer service isn't very good. Their fenders look good but they require a LOT of work @ the body shop.

do a search and you'll see how "great" their crappy service is.

yeah they are slow, the fenders need work to fit, but i know many who have purchased their body kits and the fitment was good.. they are probably just busy at the moment.

You're getting screwed by them just by purchasing the part, even if you do get it. Its gonna fit terrible, no where near your money's worth.

i hope everything works out for you man.. thats y i wont use anything but paypal.. ACCOLADE needs to read this.. just for this i will never order anything from them.. i wish they would just call it quits

^^ you think Paypal covers your ***....look into it again.

Pay with a CC....you can chargeback easier than anything if the product doesn't show up ...or isn't what you ordered.

Yes they did reply me, stating that my shipment has been sent and I should receive it by Monday, but still waiting for the shipping details as they're on holiday. Supposedly they should get back to me by yesterday.

BUT NOW THEY ARE NOT REPLYING AGAIN DESPITE NUMEROUS EMAILS FROM ME! I really wonder their service level...

If they are on holiday and they're shipping out, I'd assume you'll get it soon seeing they sent it out. Take a deep breath, cool down, and hit them up when they're back. I realize you're stressed, but they're not going to scam you. They're a legit company.
