How to take care of a CF Hood?

I was wondering what products I should use to help protect my CF hood for as long as possible. Also, should I try to have it wet-sanded and cleared?

Thanks guys. Would Quick Detailer hurt it at all?

I got it from my Manager. He had it for 3 weeks. He however got it straight from Seibon Carbon

To keep gel-coat fron turning yellow, i would shoot a coat of automotive grade clear coat. But other than that, just wash it and wax it.

Shouldn't this thread be in the "RX-8 Show and Shine"?

you should get it clear coated. the surface of the gelcoat is always gonna be a little dull. with a clearcoat on it you will notice a much deeper gloss and will also protect it from yellowing.

Would you take that to Maaco or any car place? I'm not saying or condoning it, but any place more or less than paints a car will clear it for a decent price?
