Smile Coilover Comparison

I've put together a table of coilover spring rates and converted them to lbs/in for a decent comparison. I'm close to buying something and have been doing a lot of homework, pm'ing people on other boards, and doing a LOT of research on the matter.

The start of the page is here:

http://rx8.swankmonkey.com/suspension/

I'll try to paste a few lines, but I don't think the formatting will come across as ok:

Model Front # Rear # Adjustments Piston Notes
JIC FLT-A2 451 281 15 40/45 Available Now
HKS Hipermax II 450 280 30 ?? Available Now
Autoexe Coilover 393 168 46 ?? ETA Unknown

I'm waiting for more feed back on the JIC's and the HKS's. Right now there is less data on the HKS's, but overall there is great feedback.

However, there is more data on the JIC's but a lot of people complain about "bouncing" which usually happens 1-2 years out and requires rebuilding.

Most of this info is NOT on the RX8 products, and manu's can change things and make them better in the long run. This is more historical data which will form a baseline. True results will be with the real products, and feedback from RX8 users.
