Clutch issues - Help?

Ok i have a problem, and its a very annoying one.

I bought a clutch/flywheel kit from ACT and put it in. don't ask me why i got the 6puck stage three, i should have stuck with the street slip st2.

Anyway it worked ok for about 2 months, great grab, fast response and then... i had problems. for 1 the clutch never disengages 100%, probably like 95%. Two, the clutch feels lazy (or master cylinder) and it takes a good second and a half to disengage so you can shift. In other words (any attempt to shift it quickly ends up with gear grinding or i just wont go into gear.) sometimes you can try all you want and i will just grind away until you go for a different gear all together (mean while i'm standing on the pedal and its right to the floor.) Also the clutch grabs AT the floor, you let off a pubic hair and its engaging.

You can imagine how frustrating this is when a prelude can beat you cause you cant shift.

Two things have been recommended thus far. 1: bleed the clutch (is see the bleeder right on the firewall, but is there a proper bleed procedure? i know some other cars require you to bleed from multiple locations? does anyone know, has anyone done this on their 8 before? 2: get a new master cylinder one that has full clutch movement at like 1/2 or 3/4 pedal depression.

What do you guys think??? Help me out, i want to enjoy driving it again. and i DONT wanna have to replace/rebuild my tranny (sure i got filings in there already, gotta get one of those magnetic oil plugs)

As per about a thousand of similar threads...check you clutch bracket...they are known to fail....

Bleed the clutch.....

Adjust the pedal throw.....

Quit racing Preludes

From what im reading it could be a few things...

bleeding the line could help, but i have an unusual amount of clutch chatter, only in 1st gear and at low rpm theres a chattering noise, sounds like a loose exhaust. but if the pp bolts are starting to back out (explains why its progressively gotten worse) would cause the engaging point to change?...

And there is of course the possibility the tranny and syncros are going (new tranny? )

Ill head over to BMW where my buddy works, throw it up on the lift and take a look. i will let you know.

On another note... any idea where i can find some camber plates? or a good site for Mazda stuff (all i can find is rx7store.net)
