Thank you all for the responses on my previous post. It really helps to get some good advise from experienced RX8 owners.

I have a couple of questions with regards to the CARFAX reports and the Recall check within these reports. Its obvious for one to go through the detailed CARFAX reports before buying a car.

According to you what should I be ideally looking for in the RX8 Carfax reports? Accident alerts are generally a definite NO-NO. Some of them '04 models indicate the 4206F emissions recall performed while the other '04 models have a clean Carfax history report with no recalls. Which of these vehicles are a safe bet?

In short, how do I identify a good used vehicle from a CARFAX history report? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

The car with 4206F emissions recall performed ids the one you want to look at.

Take carfax with salt in your wound.
