Staggered or not to staggered

I've read a bit on staggering the car. It seems that the conclusion is not much of a difference at all. Staggering the car seems more for drag races and cosmetic purposes.

Qns:
1) can i put my rims size at 18x9.5 all round? will it rub the fenders in front?

2) 9.5 width all round wont it be better in terms on grip and handling?

Staggered defintiely looks cool, but stock is optimized for daily driver handling.

Yes, you can go 9.5 all around and with it 245/40-18 is a popular alternative tire fitment.

A bit wider tread so a bit better grip and a bit better look, while maintaining non-staggered.

Additionally, you can rotate non-staggered for more even/longer tread life.

you can check with acidx he's is super staggered...but for me, im using 8.5 all around. If you ask me, the minimal difference can only be felt at track.

1. 9.5in means ur tyres shld be ard 255 or 265. 245 is extremely over stretched. 255 or 265 tyres are expensive, compared to 225, 235 or 245. it will not rub ur front is ur offset is correct.

2. grip n handling, yes, if u apply the law of physics. wider surface area, more surface contact, u have grip n handling. Of cos u have to balance off the money u pay for wider tyres, which is an important factor.

As for stagger n non-stagger, its ur choice. Stagger setup, like i always mentioned in the past, is a privilege for RWD. And it is so much nicer compared to all 4 same size. Check out xacidx's ride. CHeck out blackjack's ride. There are many more with staggered setup. Certain showlook rims gives u a very deep dish look, like the rims u previously wanted to buy from peter. the rear rims have one of the deeper dish for the rx8.

ultimately choice is urs.

bro for our ride the offset from +34 to +40 is better, cause it's for the brake kits. but it also depends on the type of rims, cause diff rims have diff offset for our car.

to be frank, NO. what is the width of the rims?

For rx8, both offset will pop out unless the rim width is very narrow, which is not possible for 18in rims.
