So ever since i got my rx8(i bought it used) i always noticed there was something weird about the transmission as in when it went into gears. like you couldn't just slam it in like i could with every other car. I would always have to wait a second for it to go in. Well time goes by and then i noticed 2nd and 3rd would scratch sometimes. and yeah now 4th scratched every single time. So i took it out and too it to my friend's transmission place so he can rebuild it. I thought i might post up some pics of it out for people that were curious.



Look at the clutch on the right, 3 of those springs were all real loose too

Look at all the burn spots on the flywheel.



Well while the transmission is being rebuilt, i'm gonna order the act prolight flywheel(with the counter balance) and the 4 puck act clutch kit :D

 

If you're going with a light flywheel, I'd recommend the Fidanza flywheel, with the rx7 counterweight.
