Hey AZ RX8'ers!

I've been wanting to drive the South Mountain Road for a while since i first did last year. After seeing some photos of folks who participated in the new years bash (which i couldn't make, unfortunately), i'd love to do it again while the weather is still nice.

I'm planning this route..

Although it's not really exact, it'll give a basic idea of what's planned.


Now, here is where things get interesting. Perhaps we could each bring some kind of food item (Pizza, hamburgers, sodas, etc) and have a bit of a BBQ/Picnic at the summit? Instead of just driving up, shaking some hands, yelling at the whiteknuckle bastards who will eventually screw something up, we could at least hang out up there, take some pictures, etc.

Hey Dave! I'm done with dinner.

Are you going to do the dyno day on the 16th?

 

I had thought about it. I know at least the locals would be interested in what it puts down.

 

I know Hund and I were thinking of hitting up the Pavilions in the evening with all the Barret Jackson action in town. Not 100% sure yet as I'm working a 14 hour shift till noon but it's penciled in.

 

i'l go to the Pavs just to go..and the 8 hasn't been driven since the 1st of the year. Who else is with me?

 

So far it looks like Flashwing, Hund, and myself will be at the Pavs around 6 - 6:30.
We normally park behind mcDonalds.
