don i was in an accident and the hood needed to be replaced. i had the body shop order the hood for me and replace the OEM with the stock hood and the prices basically almost cancelled each other out so i cant give you an exact price. the price on veilsides site says $850 and the body shop told me it was close to $300 to ship it. other then asthetics i would say there might be a slight cooling improvement only because on hot days i see heat waves coming out of the vents.

yeah im going to get the veilside one ordered in 2 weeks, does anyone know how long it takes to arrive and how much it costs to paint

 

veilside hoods take a long time, last time i checked it was 3months for shipping

VIS OEM...but thinking to switch to the one with vents.

 

only thing I dislike about most of the vent hoods is that the rotor shape is TOO SMALL.

Looks kinnda funny when the rotor is small and they have these huge vents next to it.
