A Ricey Issue: LED Underglow Kit

To some this mod will sweet and hot

To others it will be a disgrace to the RX8 Nation

To those who call it rice I apologize

I bought an OPTX Multicolor LED underglow kit by streetglow from my friend who only used his about 5 times in 6months. I got it for about 100-150 dollars cheaper then brand new. Works Excellent so far.

Only one picture of it so far. Vids and Other pics of colors and themes to come.

I don't mind the neons/led underglow stuff. As long as you can't see the light source and you don't drive around with it on . It looks good if you are going for that show car look.

My wiring is pretty decent. I am looking for a better digital camera. My current one does not understand how to take pictures at night.

Agreed, it looks stupid driving with them on. Also it is illegal pretty much everywhere. As well as it being distracting to other drivers which increases the odds of accidents that could happen around you and your nice car.

My cheap little Sony DSC-W35 has a great night shot feature.

Not bad Jedi! Like the looks of them as long as you cant see where the light is coming from, IE: You see the tube zip tied to the bottom of the car from the side as you drive by.. ACK!

very nice, but i agree with everyone...there is a place/time....show it off but just don't use it on the street

(also in Nevada its illegal to have red/blue lights on while driving so you don't imitate the cops...i'd check into that)

edit: jedi! do u have leds in your wheel well? if so can u take more up close pics so i can see the isntallation or give me a link to a thread with them? im very curious atm.
