Bakersfield Rotor Heads

I was just wondering if there were any Bakersfield members who meet up or anything... Im from there and will be home for xmas this year. Wouldn't mind meeting up with some fellow 8 or 7 owners. Hell Bakersfield is a small town... I might know half of you anyway hahaha.

Cause i have been seeing a lot more 8's here in Bakersfield

I know no one else that owns an 8.
I started seeing them a lot more often now.
But still havent met anyone in town. My friend owns a 93' rx7
but of course his engine is blown lol.......

I think I might have seen you, I seen a white 8 with a mazdaspeed kit. Still had the dealer plate covers so seemed like a new owner. Think it was you?

why yes.. i really do think it was me because i bought the car used but totaly forgot the plates were under the dealership plate so i left those on for a while lol my bad but i have not seen any white rx8s around so it very well could have been

My husband and I just bought a used one from the Mazda dealer in Bakersfield. We live in Lake Isabella but both work in Bakersfield. That canyon road is a heck of a trip in that car!!!

awesome, welcome to the club.
I myself havent yet been able to go through 178 east(canyon). Thats the
hwy right to get to Lake Isabella? So far only small twisty roads that I can find in town. and off ramps

....

OH you have to try 178 up to Lake Isabella.. the RX8 takes those curves like a dream, even up hill. I'm loving my commute!

hay their i got my self an rx8 dont know too much about rotary but ill find out the car it self is amazing just wanted to know if theirs people out their in bakersfield that like to meet up and cruise nothing but 8s haha let me know thanks
