RE-Amemiya Body kit
RE-Amemiya Body kit
It's been a while.
OK I had a little fender bender which tore off my Veilside kit. I was going to go with the Mazdaspeed front bumper and skirts to use my Mazda dealer. As I looked into the cost I am thinking of going with this kit instead. I have heard that some members have this kit...before I buy it I wanted to hear some feedback on the quality of the kit. How well does it fit, did it arrive in good condition ect.
Appreciate any help

RE Amemiya Car Co Ltd (有限会社RE雨宮自動車, Yūgen Kaisha Āru-ī Amemiya Jidōsha?) is an automotive tuning company from Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan founded by Isami Amemiya. Amemiya has made a name for himself tuning rotary engines since 1974 and has become a pioneer in tuning rotary-powered Mazdas. Thirty years later, first on the street and later in the Super GT series, Amemiya has made his mark on the tuning and motorsports worlds for rotaries.
i know. But I didnt know who he was without checking. With the guys history wouldn't you assume the kit is of high quality as I am taking some heat from people who view it as a knock off kit
my front isnt a perfect fit but i have a reason. i was in an accident before i had put the body kit on and the place told me that the original place that repaired my car did not properly realign the front end. so my bumper is a little crooked nothing major. i saw shinka213's vertex bumper and it was perfect

not to get off subject on this thread but after I complete the kit I want to lower the car a bit...tire gap I see many people going with the Tein basic coilovers. If I doubt I will do much if any autocross, springs instead of coilovers is my way to go. Is this correct

springs are a bit cheaper than coilovers and probably just easier to do in general. i went with the tein basics which were about $650 if i remember correctly. i'm very happy with them. i do plan on tracking the car which is why i went with the coilover. springs should be plenty in your case
Seriously, whoever said that to you... you should never talk to them again. Are they a member on the forum? If so - please say who.

I refuse to throw anyone under the bus. If u are willing to do a little research and realize I live in Florida.....You could easily find the knock off comment.
More important is the reason I started the thread. I need advise on how the fitment is. I have limited funds. I have only found the kit available on vivid racing. Cost $3000 I still need to paint and fit. My brother in law can paint and I hope together we can assemble it. If the fit is good I feel ok if the fit requires a lot of expertise then I would hate to have a kit that I need to sit on until I can afford to have it installed professionally.
Advise from owners please

Lets put it this way, whoever said Re-Amemiya stuff is a knock off kit OBVIOUSLY does not know **** about Rotary.
Fitment will be perfect. Get it.
