I had my car out on a track a couple of days ago and, once I got used to driving with my head inside a bin, I had a ball. While I didn't set new lap records the car just took every mistake I made in it stride. The brakes were terrific. A little under steer going in and little over steer on the way out but it's just so forgiving... even on tires that are well on the way out. And with my crap driving it (not me) returned some respectable times. Someone else (a 350z driver) who was there commented how a race track makes any car look inadequate, I found the 8 was a pure pleasure... A blast of a day, but I hated doing it to the car...

 

thats what I like about the 8 as well. you can't do anything wrong. it's so forgiving.

 

There are exceptions to that general rule...
