Talking Heating Up

Hey guys i am going through this problem. i am driving an 05 4 speed auto RX8. millage is abt 50000 and the area near the gear box is soooooooo hot. it is amking the internal temperature warm. is there anything i can do about it. it doesnt seem normal . i just got this car 2nd hand. i am based in singapore. Recently my friend's 8 just caughtfire mid way while driving. i am concern. and also. how and what is the proper way to drive the 8. i am new so guys do guide me along. is there something i could do to cool down the affected area?

Check the DIY section.

You can put heat shield around center counsoule.

You can also put shield under the car. However I hear ther eis very little room there.

I had the same issue as well, took it to the dealer the dealer they fixed the issue under warrenty

It just might be really helpful if maybe you told us what parts they replaced or any work they did.
