Back from my road trip

Well I made it back in one piece.
I broke 10000 km just after crossing in to New Brunswick.
Big shock, no appreciable difference in mileage.

The total for the trip was 4627.7 km, which puts my car at 10697 km total.

And here are my mileage numbers.

km L $ L/100km
390 52.267 0.809 13.40179487
397.6 46.53 0.849 11.7027163
350.6 44.264 0.819 12.62521392
379.2 47.005 0.819 12.39583333
361.8 49.171 0.817 13.59065782
335.8 39.704 0.795 11.82370459
376.6 48.554 0.811 12.89272438
397.5 44.973 0.775 11.31396226
249.3 30.9 0.804 12.39470517
414.8 45.985 0.859 11.08606557
443.4 49.05 0.849 11.06224628
360.1 42.202 0.835 11.71952235

Edit: If you can read them, that is. The forum conveniently strips out the extra spaces or tabs that would make them easy to read.

Glad to see you and your ride made it back home in one piece! (More then I can say for mine lately...)

Hopefully with all that extra seat time, you can give me a run at the Solo2 on Monday.

Yep, it should help, as long as they set up the course as a 400 km long traffic conjested highway with no corners you can't take at 140...:D

But at least I'm all set for sitting in the queue before my runs. Nothing like an hour of stop and go on the 401, followed by over an hour of stop and go between Montreal and Quebec yesterday... Averaging 80 kph over two hours is pretty bad on a major highway, especially when the first hour was at 130 kph.

Glad you got back in one piece.

That gas mileage doesn't look too bad, but then again all highway it doesn't look the best. 11.x is not too bad I guess, but since they claim 9.2 highway something is still not right! Grrrr.

That's a lot of fuel of that short trip! In my tiburon I went to Winnipeg in back with about half that fuel!

What rpms were you at for most of the trip? 11-13L/100km is ok I guess but unless you were doing 160km/hr all the time those numbers should be even better imo considering it's mostly hwy.... around 10L/100km.

Mostly 130 to 140. You know, normal highway speed in Ontario and Quebec :D

I'm seriously starting to think some of the problem is that the gas they are selling in N.S. sucks. I filled up with N.S. gas yesterday, and the light came on today. I put 52 L in, and I'd only done 360 km (numbers are rough, I was in a hurry so I didn't record it). That was mostly highway, in the 100 - 130 range. Much worse than anything I saw on the trip.
