Looking to buy an RX8 & not sure what trim it is. How can I tell what trim it is? Would the Vin # tell me??? It is an 04 (auto) with black leather interior, moon roof, spoiler & it has that sport looking ground effects that comes as an option.

 

Leather Seats = Grand Touring. Not much has changed since 2004 so Mazda's site is still a good source for this INFO

I'm new in the club I got 04RX8{just got lastweek}, I have 25km in my car and just wondering about this topic about recall or engine replacement, Do I need to call the dealer for engine replacement since I have an 04?, The engine seems ok for now a bit vibration so what should I do?

 

Why is this in a thread about trim levels? Please try and post in the right threads.
Some vibration is normal, this is a sports car not a lexus. Call Mazda or ask your dealer if the 4206F recall ( summer 2006 ) was done.

 

If you do not know the trim level on your car why did you buy it in the first place?

 

how hard is it to swap the GT red and black interior for a cloth one? i think im not a fan of the leather.

im in maryland. and the leather feels kinda cheap imo. gf drivers a bmw, brother drives a bmw, best friend and his entire family drives bmws. etc etc etc. they have nice feeling leather. especially my brothers 7 series. as well as being really hot in summer time. and im pretty sure its gonna be absolutely frigid in the winter.

the gray/black interior looks pretty sweet imo. red/black cloth would be the best case scenario. but before i pass further judgment i'd like to test drive a cloth rx8.
