Painted Badges Black
Painted Badges Black
Over the weekend, with a little help, I painted the badges black. I took the idea from this thread https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/painted-stock-exhaust-tips-%5Bpics%5D-101505/
It's been raining so I finally got to take some pics with my cousins camera.

and I was a little bored.

Next is the 'smoked' tint for the rear tails and yellow tint for head+fog lights.
Thanks for looking.

all the rear stuff was cake to remove compared to the front badge. it has three 'pegs' and when I was tugging on the badge, two of them broke off - the smaller peg remains.
i used silicone to put the back on. the front is kinda different since it's sorta warped to cope with the shape of the bumper. i pressed the top and bottom of the ring encircling the flying M to make sure they stick pretty good. the top one is a little above, but the bottom is secure.
I called autozone and they said they have a particular glue, but that silicone would work just fine.
edit: scratch that, a drop is next after flash.
