I beleive the clutch on my 04 rx8 is nearing its last days, wondering if there is someplace other than the dealership to take it to. Thanks in advance.

 

Never take your car to the dealership! LOL Take it to Mike and Mark at Precision Import Repair at 4444 S. Federal Blvd. It's half way between Hampden and Belview on the east side of Federal. Their number is 303-797-6510. Tell them you heard about them through the Mile High Rotary Club. They work on RX-8's all the time since they are one of the few Rotary Specialist left in the state....and damn good ones!

Another option is Don Walker and Grid 1 Motorsports.

 

I would advise against that. He moved and the address is the old shop. Hard to get a hold of. Not to bad of a guy but a little shady. Things happened and I won't be giving him my transmission to fix like he thinks. And when it comes time to do the motor I will do it myself. Even if he can "get me a great deal on all the seals". I'm done working with him and so are several others.

 

I gotta sign to MHR. I understand why you don't post events on CMZC anymore (I'm the only rx8 left there) but it'd be nice to get some more rx8 and 7 folk on there.
