Wow... That revolver kit's resemblance to the R-magic kit is uncanny!

(Having typed that, I realized that it's entirely possible that it is a replica. If that is the case, I just made a really dumb comment by stating the obvious. Thus, please forgive me for my stupidity if this fact is common knowledge...)

Do you guys dress yourselves with cheap & fake brand named clothes? If not, then why would do it to your RX-8? Save an extra penny, and get the real kit.

Yes the revolver is just an R-Magic replica. If you go for this kit, unless you know otherwise, prepare for the worst, take it to a very reputible and experienced shop and spend the money getting it fitted and colour matched properly. Will save you months of pain and heartache!

i have the r-magic front, didnt much care for the rest of the kit after i found the abflug, but yeah having it properly fitted and color matched is the key thing. the shop i went to used a brighter paint on my kit than my car, so now i have a multi colored car..

lazi, whats the genuine R-Magic made from? just FRP isnt it? isnt FRP just FRP? I can handle people saying fitment is bad on replica's but if you happen to get a replica where the fitment isnt to bad doesnt it just come down to the painter?

Lil Gato, same for me, I have 2 shades of WB on mine painter swears no one wil get better !

Cheers

^pretty much what they all said

replica kits may seem like a great deal but the fitment is soooo bad that you're gonna spend hundreds just to get it to fit right. Go genuine or don't go at all

genuine rmagic is frp. FRP IS just frp. but the craftmanship of molding is where it counts from authentic and replica. authentic is ALMOST as close to OEM fitment, as where replica would probably a lot more off where you need to sand down and bondo some pieces to fit better, the rmagic replica i've seen were pretty bad, there was a lot of labor that was gone into to even come out "ok" the gap between the hood and bumper was off and also the clear corner wouldnt fit still cause the lining was too thin where it lines up with the clear corner and fender.
