Just purchased an 04 RX8 and am looking for input on the service departments of area dealers. The car I bought had the oil pan leak and the collapsed right side motor mount. Took the car to Bob King Mazda in Winston-Salem and the experience wasn't very pleasant. After making an appointment and delivering the car to them, it took two days to do what I think should have taken 4 hours max. Initially they agree that the oil pan seal was leaking but said there was nothing wrong with the motor mount. After explaining to the service manager where to look, and what to look for, they finally agreed to replace the mount. They would not, however, replace the right side bracket and the left side mount as detailed in the service bulletin 01-021/06. He didn't provide a good reason except that the left side mount looked ok.

Has anyone had experience with Parks Mazda in High Point? Guess I'll try there next time I need service.

As I was leaving, the service manager kept reminding me that I may get a survey to fill out about my experience, and that if I marked unsatisfactory for any part, they would get a failing grade. Hope I get that survey.
