something is wrong wtih that video, I saw the same video on youtube, but it was a couple guys chasing down a Ferrari.
you be the judge, that part that matche sup to that other video starts at about 1:10 into the 550 vid, look at it, same red civic, same dangerous pass in the offramp...

he shifts 2 times, maybe 3 (at the very start). At the very end he's about to shift too, so whatever the case, there's no way he would need that many gear changes, and there's no way he'd be on the highway in 2nd while going 70 mph.
also those two videos match up exactly. It's not just the red civic, everything is exactly the same. So unless he's also able to perfectly edit out the voices of them chatting and enhance the audio, the audio stream on the video is faked.

that was my point, from the 1:10 mark on the "original" they match up, I just happened to see the Ferrari video this weekend, and recognized it in the "turbo" video. why would someone bother to do something like that, what is the point...

Yes, you had a very good eye - I didn't notice the duplicate clip, but it did seem off to me because the acceleration seen in the video also doesn't match up to what I'm used to with my turbo. I would be traveling much faster

sorry, I meant that the person that called the guy out on posting a fake video had a silver turbo 8. not that you posted the fake. sorry for any confusion, what sounds logical in my head, is not always logical.
