I bought my 2006 Brilliant Black RX8 in late February. I have added a set of clear lenses for the front and 19" TSW Nogaro wheels on 245/35/19 Kumho tires. Future mods include tint and maybe lowering springs.







I think the wheels made a huge difference. They are heavier than the stock wheels, but they haven't hurt performance too much. I'm interested to see if they affect my fuel mileage as it is currently at 18-19 mpg mixed.

You definitely need to lower or get a ground effects kit or pieces. It's really high looking with 19"s.

My first two sports cars were black, an s14 240sx and a 300zx. Then a Blue 350z, now my phantom blue rx8. Black is where I started, so I have a feeling I'll go back one day.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The car now has 15% tint all around.






So far the Tanabe and Tien S-Tech springs look the best. Are both of these a safe bet or should I look at other springs?
