Axis Hiro's pricing etc.... I know, I know...

I know a lot of people have these rims but they look great IMO and I need a new set of wheels. I was wondering where everyone is buying their Hiros? I've been quoted a set for $1390..... is that too much?

Also would this setup work without rubbing or any other issues?

front: 19x8.5 +35 offset
rear: 19x9.5 +45 offset

And yes I have read over numerous threads using the search feature to check for these questions... but I'd appreciate any help and info. Thanks.

Anybody have any idea on these offsets and if there would be any chance at rubbing etc.

front: 19x8.5 +35 offset
rear: 19x9.5 +45 offset

and would these offsets look right on the car?

Thanks again!

i have them in 18s with a +45 and they fit....decent. they dont stick out and look gay or nothin, but the tire size seems off. i have 255/40 and the tires ever so slightly brush the inner wheel well on extreme angle turns. ive had my car on a lift weeks after installing them and i can see spots on the wheel wells that r completely spotless from the tires touching them. i lowered the car about 1 inch with tein coilovers btw so i dunno ur setup, but a +45 fits for me basically.......i spent like 1400 or so for my 18s (without tires) so whatev it is for 19s should be around that or higher i guess. if u see one place selling them for 500 and another for 1500.....watch urself, u get what u pay for....

just dont get wheel and tire combos the tires are always some junky crap in some stupid size. buy real tires in a real size and install them. and be ready to scratch ur wheels when imnstalling them, good god the sidewall on my 615's wouldnt flex for the life of me!

If you call Axis, they only offer one size for the RX8. Their staggered setup with 19's fit perfect. You cna run a 275 in the rear, and a 245 in front without any rubbing issues at all....I've seen them on a car with stock suspension, as well as dropped with Eibach springs...again, no rubbing issues on either of those cars.

Let me see if I can find some pics to share.

don't know where you are located, but in Cali, we have a couple of large wheel distributers...one of them, I know, ships. Check out Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim, CA.

Thumbs up

Thanks everyone for your help and advice! Wow, kwescott, thanks for hunting all that down for me and others who might be interested. I'm all the way on the other side of the country in NC... but I'll check around on prices a little more. Thanks again!

no hunting involved...the wheels pictured are actually the same set of wheels when Xrider01 was selling off parts from his car. The cars are at local meets her in Cali, and are all pics I've taken. No problem at all.
