aftermarket deck\receiver solutions?

anyone have after market decks in their dash? how did you go about doing it.. with the hazard button and such being where its at, and really a complete custom design to the radio/deck location, cant figure out how this can/could be done... want to put in an mp3 supported deck with the jacks to install a sirius/xm unit... TIA!

Do some searching.. this topic is covered alot..

Basially there is 2 reasons why it's more trouble than its worth.. 1 is that you lose the AC controls unless you relocate the stock unit somewhere else in the car.
and 2 is that you don't need an aftermarket to do what you want... they make an MP3 player stock head unit (you just replace some of the insides of your stock unit) and there are several ways to get a line in. i use an AUXMOD myself. Do some searching around you'll learn alot.

corksport kit is replacement for center console.
speedline kit adds to the top of center console display for single din.

or you can take it to a shop to have the center modified.

do a search.
